Tea House with Clayworks

A space of healing and beauty.

Created in collaboration with Clayworks initially for the Surface Design Show, the Tea House will have a new life in summer 2023 in Cornwall, creating a space of wonder in the landscape.

We made the structure from green wood Chestnut and Oak jointed with brass and oak pegs. The interior is formed from Clayworks wonderful panels that really capture the story of the landscape.

The Tea House is a coming together of many crafts and hands. Including lighting by PSLab and naturally dyed textiles by Indigo Works and Working Cloth.
