A journey we took to the rock cut churches in Ethiopia. The churches are carved deep down into landscape so they appear like hidden realms. As you walk around you move between shadow and light feeling the power of each aspect.

There is something wonderful about the way the rock has been carved and imbued by the touch and presence of ceremony over thousands of years.
